I grew up by the Arctic Circle in Lapland, in Northern Finland.
Finland is a magical country. In the summer, you can see the sun shining all night long. In the winter, it is dark all day. That is ok, because at night you can see Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights).
It is saddening that lately there has been a discerning amount of unhealthy right-wing nationalism in Finland, and the country is turning inwards.
To forget that for a moment, enjoy some beautiful pictures of Finland taken by my father.
